Physiotherapy is a degree based profession that takes the ‘whole person’ approach to health and wellbeing. After a thorough assessment to understand you, our physiotherapists will choose from a range of evidence based treatment techniques that is suitable for you and your current injury to facilitate the optimum recovery or enhancement of your life. These options may range from proprioceptive and strengthening exercises, taping, running retraining or acupuncture and pilates.
Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.
After a thorough assessment treatment may consist of soft tissue massage, stretching, and joint mobilisation techniques (ranging from gentle to strong, depending on what’s needed for your situation) as well as nutrition and postural advice and appropriate exercises.
Soft Tissue Therapy
Not just for sports people. Taking into account the whole person, the approach combines clinical & remedial massage techniques that may assist people from all walks of life to ease muscular skeletal pain. This may be applied to patients post injury, surgery or those experiencing chronic conditions OR as a way to support the demands of everyday life.
We are here to help clients meet their fitness goals, through the knowledge, skills, and abilities personal trainers possess. A personal trainer is a fitness professional who designs exercise programs and instructs exercise to help people achieve their fitness goals, which will often include weight loss, improving sports performance, or managing a health condition. We do this by working with clients on a one-to-one basis.
